Changes

Things have been good but rather chaotic lately.
I've been cleaning the house like crazy to get ready for the new journey my family and I are about to embark on.

I have been a stay at home mom for almost 3 years now.
I do work for a construction company helping to run their book work but after Bug was born I ended up having to cut my hours back. Add into account that I don't have a laptop of my own and hubby's can't take any more programs on it I have worked very little in the last few months.
I'm working on saving up for a laptop or tablet of some sort that I will be able to work on more consistently for both my blog and for the construction company.
However, with not getting very many hours and my husband's paychecks needing to go 100% towards the necessities it's taking longer than I had hoped.

Recently I was approached by a friend who had a question for me.
Her and her husband were talking about alternatives to daycare and my name kept coming up!
This was completely unexpected and was a huge complement as I have a lot of respect for her.

We had them all over for a playdate on Saturday to see how the kids did with interacting and to talk over a few more details. It was a wonderful time spent with the four of them. The kids played really well together L even let Monkey play with his Thomas the Train and I even got a "So Much!" from L (meaning I love you) which is a huge deal for him.

I will be watching her two sweet kids starting in about a month!
Her son L is 10 months younger than Monkey and her daughter V is 4 months younger than Bug.
My house is about to get a little crazy but I am so looking forward to it!

This will mean a lot for both of our families.

For Their Family:

  • Saving money.
  • Kids exposed to less sickness.
  • Convenient as I live less than 2 miles from her work and am not really out of the way for them.
For Our Family:

  • A regular playmate for Monkey who is close in age to him.
  • Extra income making it possible for us to get out of debt sooner and for me to be able to save up for a  laptop or tablet
  • And a very set schedule for our family. (Which yes will be a little challenging at first but I think it'll be good in the long run.)
Please be sure to stay tuned as we embark on this journey and will be sure to share the crazy kid chronicles with you all. :)
